CITY OF LONGWOOD DEBRIS CLEAN-UP TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

As of Tuesday, September 26, 2017, exact dates unknown due to quantity of debris being addressed; AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Please be patient as we have four times the debris as experienced last year in Hurricane Matthew. We have already picked up over 170 tons of debris since September 14, 2017.

 

Task Force CFE (1 Loader, 1 Skid Steer, 5 Dump Trucks)

Currently in Devonshire and will progress in order as listed below.

  • Harbor Isle
  • Windsor Manor
  • Sleepy Hollow
  • Shadow Hill

Task Force Cathcart (1 Loader, 1 Skid Steer, 8 Dump Trucks)

Currently on Wildmere Avenue working east and will progress in order listed below.

  • Oxford Street
  • East Street
  • Bistline Avenue
  • Lyns Drive
  • Vincent Place
  • Talmo Street
  • Ridge Street
  • Secondary roads crossing East Church Avenue, North Grant Street and North Wayman Street

Task Force City 1 (Chipper, Small Dump Truck)

Currently on North Wayman Avenue and will progress in order listed below addressing smaller debris, only.

  • Harbor Isle

  

Task Force City 2 (Chipper, Small Dump Truck)

Currently on East Church Avenue and will progress in order listed below addressing smaller debris, only.

  • Hidden Oaks

Private Streets (Deed Restricted Communities) will be addressed last on a first come/first serve basis, in the order of receipt of signed “Right of Entry” agreements required by FEMA.

*WastePro is conducting household garbage pick-up on normally scheduled days. Yard debris in bags and WastePro containers will only be picked up on Wednesdays and Saturdays until finished. They are unable to combine household garbage and yard debris in same truck, due to landfill requirements and FEMA.
