Community Development: Is a parcel located within the City of Longwood?
Go to the Seminole County Property Appraiser’s website at: http://www.scpafl.org/web/web_main.main. Search for the parcel in question using one of the available search methods. Click on the blue link under owner to access the parcel detail. At the top left of the page under “General” you will see the tax district category. If it says “Longwood”, the property is within the city limits. If it says “County”, the property is within Seminole County. *Note: just because the mailing address for a parcel has the city listed as Longwood, it does not mean the property is actually within the city’s jurisdiction.
