Attending the August 12, 2020 Meeting


The August 12th meeting is open to the public and all persons are invited to participate. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will also be held via Communications Media Technology (CMT). In order to address the concerns with COVID-19 and in accordance with the requirements of Seminole County Executive Order 2020-030, social distancing requirements will be strictly adhered to and persons attending this meeting are required to wear a face covering unless exempted from wearing face coverings as stated in Section 5 of Executive Order 2020-030.

Overview


The Land Planning Agency reviews and recommends amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, the Longwood Development Code, right-of-way abandonments, and annexations.

The Land Planning Agency is a five (5) member board appointed by the City Commission and they meet only as required.

Each member must be a City resident and serve for a three (3) year term.
