Longwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery

Longwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery

Welcome to Longwood Memorial Gardens, a municipal cemetery owned and operated by the City. Established in 1957, Longwood Memorial Gardens is a 5-acre oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Longwood.

Currently, the City of Longwood is in the process of updating the landscaping in Longwood Memorial Gardens and it will feature live oaks, southern red cedar trees, crepe myrtle trees, and Washington's palms. Recently a water feature and Columbaria were added to the cemetery.

In the future, the City of Longwood is looking at adding such features as a Scatter Garden, Boulder Estates, and additional shrubbery.

Under Direction of City Clerk

The cemetery operations are directed by the City Clerk, as provided for in City Code Chapter 26, Cemetery. The Longwood Memorial Gardens driveway is open from 8 a.m. until sunset, unless otherwise posted, Monday through Sunday. A walk-through gate provides daytime access only.
